The Decker Law Firm is pleased to announce attorney Michelle Parker being honored as a Leader in the Law by Virginia Lawyers Weekly for 2022. Leaders in the Law highlights an annual class of peer nominated attorneys to receive recognition for their contributions to the legal profession. Michelle states, “It is a great honor to be recognized by my peers in the Virginia legal community for my contributions to the practice of law. I look forward to many more years of contributing time and effort to the practice of law and the betterment of our legal system.”
The honorees are considered based on their accomplishments, professionalism, outstanding contributions to the practice of law in Virginia, significant achievements through the practice of law, leadership in improving the justice system and important contributions to Virginia’s legal community and/or the community at large. Senior Partner Martin Thomas applauded Michelle’s selection and shared, “I am so proud of Michelle for being named a Leader in Law. She deserves this recognition and so much more for her work in carrying on Pete Decker’s standard of excellence in the law and in helping people”.
Michelle concentrates her practice primarily in the areas of personal injury and other civil litigation, estate planning and probate throughout the seven cities of Greater Hampton Roads. Michelle received the award October 25, 2022, alongside her class of honorees at a live event at The John Marshall in Downtown Richmond.
