Serving our community goes well beyond the courtroom – Decker Law proudly takes active roles on various local boards. Most recently, our very own Peter Decker, III and Martin Thomas, Jr have been recognized for once again answering the call of our community.
Peter Decker, III named Chair of the Board of the Norfolk Airport
The Norfolk Airport Authority is governed by a Board of Commissioners consisting of up to nine members appointed by Norfolk City Council for four-year terms, and an Executive Director overseeing day-to-day operations.
Martin Thomas, Jr. named Vice Chair of the Board of Planning Council
The Planning Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-planning corporation that connects people with agencies, non-profits, and other organizations in the human services area to improve their quality of life and help build stronger communities.
Martin Thomas, Jr. now serving on the Hermitage Museum Board
The Hermitage Museum and Gardens is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit with a Board of Directors (BOD) as its governing body and its Hermitage Foundation remains to support the BOD and offer additional fiduciary guidance in the management and protection of its investments and endowment.
